ETT 229, Computers for Education, is a course I teach in the College of Education at Northern Illinois University. The course is designed for students studying to be teachers but attracts other students as well.
Computers for Education focuses on the Microsoft 2007 Office Suite but also introduces students to Blogs, Wikis, Podcasting Social Bookmarking, Web Site Analysis. These topics have been selected to help prepare future teachers who will be using these technologies in their own classrooms.
